33 ⅓ Collective was a platform founded by Dutch artists Douwe Dijkstra, Jules van Hulst and Coen Huisman. From 2008 till 2018 the collective worked on a wide range of visual collaborative projects that focussed on multimedia environments, live performances and theatrical scenes.
Their projects included collaborations with many different artists, music ensembles and theatre groups, including Ensemble Intercontemporain, Rosa Ensemble, Muziektheater Transparant, and the Ragazze Quartet among others.
Coen Huisman left the collective in 2015 to pursue his work in stained glass. In 2019 the remaining members Jules van Hulst and Douwe Dijkstra decided to focus on their individual paths as visual artists and 33 ⅓ Collective was discontinued.
