Soselo in Siberia was an interdisciplinary performance about Russia from the period of Stalin. A collaboration between 33 ⅓ Collective and Rosa Ensemble that started in 2012 with a short video teaser for a project that was called The Master and Margarita at the time. In 2013 they performed a 15 minute pilot performance during the Rotterdam Opera Days titled Mimosa. The final 1 hour Soselo in Siberia performance premiered as the festival opener of the Operadagen Rotterdam 2014. Below you can watch the different stages of this process in 6 videos.
